About Me   I can still remember the first time I picked up a camera. My dad said: "Here son, see if you can take a sharp photo of a moving car." In other words: go play in the traffic and leave me alone. I have always had photography around me. My dad would sit my sister and myself down so that he could try out new photo techniques. We would sit there for hours showing a combination of fingers in the air so that he could tell what he did for what exposure. It was my mom who gave me my creative direction. She is a succesful publisher so I got used to having graphic desginers visit the house. My mom taught me my first basic rules of composition and that working hard is the only way to win the race. I am orginaly from South Africa. I studied 3D Animation and video editing at a satellite campus of the Rand Afrikaans Universty in Johannesburg. I arrived in Holland shortly after graduating. I found a job as a video editor at a 3D Animation Company. I was promoted to photographer and have not looked back since. I enjoy landscape photography, as I love colour and contrast.
